Its been too long!

ok so it's been waaaay too long since I last posted on here but so much has happened. I've been to my first wedding, started my new course, got placement, went to a Paramore gig and now I'm even moving flat! I thought I'd take this opportunity to fill you all in with some photo updates. Dad I know you have Facebook now so you might have seen some of them but for other friends/family members I've put in some photos from various occassions/nights out/days away.

I was a tropical bird at Halloween (some people said it wasn't scary but as you can see by this photo it was!) I lost my beak by this point!

I managed to fight my way to the front of the crowd at the Paramore gig. I have the bruises to prove it! ha ha. Fantastic night.

ITALIA!!

Ok so I'm finally on to post about my holiday. Italy was amazing! I especially liked Florence. Rome was very hustle and bustle and quite a lot of people staring but still throughly enjoyable. All 3 of our hostels were really good especially the tents in Florence which had wooden floors and beds! Our campsite had a view of the whole city!

The Vatican and St Peters Basilica in Rome totally took our breath away. I was quite upset to see people taking photos inside it though of the bodies of dead Popes etc. I thought it was a little disrespectful. We had amazing food everyday and I found a new favourite (spinach and ricotta ravioli!). In the afternoons to cool off we'd get a gelato.

As I was saying to mum I couldn't pick a favourite thing because we saw so much. I think the best part was simply BEING there and being able to experience it all and walk around all the little streets and explore.

Hello May!

Well the begining of May has brought great news! I got in to college! I'm very excited and I've alreadyt bought my textbook. It looks really good and I think i'm really going to enjoy the course!

We've also had some better weather recently so myself and a few friends have had a BBQ and a few games of rounders in the park.

Also, dave put an add on freecycle for camera equipment and he got a reply pretty soon to say this guy had 2 old film cameras in his attic. So Dave picked them up and he gave me one of them as a "congratulations on getting into college" gift. Haven't used a whole film yet so haven't seen the results yet but I'm hopeful. I put a picture of it below along with some other recent photos!

Quick Update!

Just a really quick post to say sorry I haven't been updating! I will put up some more recent photos in a few days when I get a hold of some photos off David's camera. Dave's sister louise is up this weekend in Dundee which is fun. I also have ANOTHER new haircut and more keeps coming off!

I'm sure mum and dad have informed you of my exciting au pair news! I'm a little scared but mainly excited about going to Spain!

Also Dave and I have booked our holiday to Italy and will be jetting off to Italy in just over a month! Things are definitely looking up!
